It's hard to believe that my late Son (Jeff) would be 28 years old today. It just seems like yesterday that I held you in my arms.
I still remember your smiles everytime I played music, your strong grip on my finger and everything you taught me about being a Dad in your 5 short months.
I remember calling my old friend (Jeff Bemis) to tell him the news of your birth. He was so excited for me. But then he said "you had your son on my brother (Rick's) birthday, what are you going to do for me?" Little did he know my response would be "name him Jeff after you" My friend Jeff had cancer, I couldn't think of a better person to name my son after. Little did I know that my friend would out live my son.
Please know that I will never forget either one of you as you have a special place in my heart!
