Today we honor those who served and serve our country.
We might not always know who you are as we don't always see the scars of your service. But as we look around we know that you're out there because we live in freedom, something we know you helped to provide for us.
You may never get the respect that you deserve, but always know there are those of us who hold a special place in our heart for you.
You may have served in wars you didn't always agree with, but your country came first before your feelings.
Thank You for protecting me and my family from those who wanted to harm us, even when your family was waiting for you to come home.
